LORD, JESUS CHRIST, YOU ARE SO KIND
NO MERITS OF MY OWN
INVITE ME TO THE PLEASURES OF YOUR BANQUET TABLE
I AM A SINNER AND I COME IN FEAR AND TREMBLING,
ENCOURAGED ONLY BY YOUR MERCY AND GOODNESS

MY SOUL AND BODY ARE DEFILED WITH MANY SINFUL DEED
MY TONGUE AND HEART HAVE RUN THEIR COURSE WITHOUT RESTRAINT
GOD OF GRACIOUS KINDNESS, WHILE I TREMBLE BEFORE YOUR MAJESTY
WRETCH THAT I AM, TRAPPED IN MY OWN INSUFFICIENCY,
I STILL LOOK TO YOU, THE SOURCE OF MERCY.

I HASTEN TO YOU TO BE HEALED AND TO SEEK REFUGE UNDER YOUR PROTECTION
